According to the Lithuanian branch of Swedbank bank, “In the first quarter of 2024, the economy increased by 0.8% quarterly, while annually it accelerated to 2.9%.”. They also report near zero annual inflation, growing real wages (wages adjusted for inflation), and an all time high consumer confidence. Unfortunately they also report increased unemployment (increased by 1.4%). To round off their report in a positive manner, they also report that “the Lithuanian economy is expected to rebound this year with annual GDP growing by 1.8%. Growth is expected to accelerate to 2.8% in 2025”
